It's fall around my house now, so I was inspired to paint these wonderful golden trees. It's done on Bristol Vellum, a finish I'm beginning to really prefer for a number of reasons. It lets the paint remain on the surface, giving the opportunity for some nice juicy details, and yet it's matte enough that the paint doesn't slide around as much. Hope you like it! Happy fall...
