Clear Stream
The Canvas Paper gives this little painting some real painterly effects, I think. I painted from a photo that was posted on the Landscape Challenge at WetCanvas by Kay. I've tweaked the image a bit, adding my own touches and interpretation. The challenge of working from photographs is to make them personal, filtered through your own experience and style.

San Patricio
I saw this charming shot over at the January Landscape Challenge on WetCanvas. This photo, posted by Kay (KreativeK), is the doorway of San Patricio, the oldest Catholic Church in New Mexico, she says. Love the light and shadows. (Thanks, Kay.)
