Gouache and Watercolor -- Deborah Secor
On Bristol vellum paper, it started from a photo of Reykjavik, Iceland that an online acquaintance allowed me to use (thanks, Sigrun), but I never finished it. Recently I found the half-done painting and added the high mountains and greenery in the foreground, so I suspect it's more New Mexico than Iceland anymore. Hope you like it!
This is a lovely painting! Shows the majesty and joy in Nature!!!
Thank you, Sandeep. :)
Your gouache paintings are beautiful. I'm enjoyed coming to see them here and thank you for you nice comments of mine on Wet Canvas.
Carole, thanks so much. I love painting in gouache. So glad we have that long thread over in the Watercolor Studio at WetCanvas. Fun!
