On Bristol vellum paper, it started from a photo of Reykjavik, Iceland that an online acquaintance allowed me to use (thanks, Sigrun), but I never finished it. Recently I found the half-done painting and added the high mountains and greenery in the foreground, so I suspect it's more New Mexico than Iceland anymore.
