Deborah, This is just like a little oil painting! Maybe we should re-visit florals on the gouache challenge thread next month on WC ...what do you think?

Maggie, that's a neat observation. I know so little about oils... I vote for shadows on the challenge. It opens up the subject matter. But we can all talk! We have a few weeks.
